In today’s world of economic, many people retiring and moving to places that are cheaper to live. It is the job of the realtor to provide people with as much information as possible to find their dream home.
It is a long known fact that the more of the 5 sense (touch, smell, see, hear, and taste) a customer uses the more they are able to make a good decision on their purchase. This is where podcasts, and videos come in to assist the Realtor.
Ok, so you are saying, man that is to expensive and complicated. Not really. Remember this is for your high end clients. (High End = $500,000.00 plus)
So what do you need to get started…
- A video camera. It does not have to be expensive. You can you one like JVC - MiniDV Digital Camcorder $229.99. This is just one of many good one.
- Second you need some software to process your video. There are lot of software packages out there that will do the job but unless you are going to produce a movie for the big screen I would stick with something like Camtasia Studio 5.1 $299.00. This program will take about 1 hours to read the documentation and get up and running.
- Depending on wether you are going to take the movie by yourself or with another person you may need a wireless remote microphone for the person showing the property while you are recording. They can range from $50.00 on up. More information on wireless microphones…………
Ok, so now you have everything you need to be a movie producer. We will discuss taking the movie in the next post and then how to process your movie in the final post in this series.
